Please Join Kidney For Ed At Our Jokes & Jams Fest

The Kidney For Ed Jokes and Jams Fest will be held on October 5th, from 12PM (Noon) Until 11PM. Come rain or shine, as our event venue offers a covered pavilion! 

The Jokes and Jams Fest will be held at Tanner's Lakeside located at: 1006 Lake Howard Dr SW, in Winter Haven, Florida. Nestled by the lake, this venue offers breathtaking views from various vantage points, with an outdoor bar adjacent to the stage! Tanner's Lakeside offers ample space for the variety of activities we'll be offering on Oct.5th, including various inflatables, a dunk tank, photo booth, and MORE- PLUS, a fabulous stage for our amazing lineup of bands and comedians...it's an amazing space for guests to laugh, dance, AND enjoy the fun! $10 Entry Ticket Includes one free raffle ticket to enter to win a "Chest of Cheer" donated by Tanners. Seating may be limited and is 1st come 1st serve, so please feel free to BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) to ensure you'll have a comfy seat!

•  Jokes And Jams Fest will be FAMILY FRIENDLY by day (until 6pm) with a children's wet/dry inflatable playground, and a mobile dog gym (we kindly ask that all dogs are on their best behavior), and there will be multiple bands performing throughout the day.
• There will also be a dunk tank contest, a photo booth, a cartoon artist, various raffles, a live auction, bake sale items, t-shirt sales, and MORE!
• Comedian MC Rudy Wilson, known for his awesome crowd work, will MC all day- we're very grateful for his generosity!
• Jokes And Jams Fest will be DATE NIGHT Material (starting at 7pm) with the comedy show kicking off at 7 (see lineup below) and headline rock band Running Reckless performing from 9pm-10:30pm.

Kidney For Ed will be selling tickets for the following items:

• Raffles- raffles will be scattered throughout the event.
• 50/50 Raffle- 10:30-11pm
• Lotto Raffle- 10:30-11pm
• Event Day T-shirts- throughout the event or until sold out
• Dunk tank contest- 12pm-6pm and 9pm-10pm
• Photobooth- throughout the event
• Cartoon Artist- Carrot Catchers
• Variety of baked goods for sale, sponsored by The Pound Cake Family, Fancy Cakes, Richard’s Coffee’s Shop, Sugar and Slice, & Davidson of Dundee Candy, with the potential of more coming
• Multiple Auction Packages available for a live auction between 6pm-7pm

All proceeds support the Kidney for Ed fund to help 43-year-old Polk County Resident Ed Strickler pay for his pre & post transplant-related expenses. Ed has a genetically inherited Kidney Disease (PKD) and is in need of finding a living kidney donor, and must have the necessary funding in place prior to scheduling his transplant surgery.
